For local moves, we suggest booking one to two weeks in advance. Long-distance relocations typically need three to four weeks of lead time. Summer is our busiest season across DuPage County, so earlier bookings give you the best selection of dates and crew sizes. For urgent moves, give us a call — we often have openings within 24 to 48 hours.

Yes. Our crews are experienced with Illinois winter conditions — snow, ice, and freezing temperatures. We use extra padding and plastic wrapping, and we take added care with walkways and truck loading to keep your items safe and dry on cold-weather moving days.

Local moves are billed hourly based on crew size and truck type. The clock starts when we arrive and stops when the last item is placed. You always receive a written estimate before any work begins — no surprises at the end.

We cannot transport hazardous materials, flammable liquids, live plants, perishable food, or ammunition. If you have a specific item you are unsure about, ask before moving day and we will help you figure out the best way to handle it.

Label boxes by room, clear hallways and doorways, set aside valuables you will carry yourself, and confirm that truck parking is available near your entrance. After booking, we email you a complete preparation checklist so nothing is forgotten.
